Bryttani Muniz Bryttani is an incoming graduate student in the Hydrology Program starting in Fall 2021! Bryttani received her A.A. from Lone Star College - Montgomery and B.S. in Geology with a minor in Geography from Sam Houston State. Welcome Bryttani!!
Riley Heath Riley is a second year undergraduate in the Earth Science department at New Mexico Tech, hailing from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Riley is especially interested in the underlying systems and processes that drive changes affecting the Earth’s surface and pretty much anything that involves getting out into nature. Riley's research is funded through the NMT Sophomore Research Program!
Mya Martinez-Metzgar Mya is a junior at NMT majoring in Biomedical Sciences and Technology. Mya started as an undergraduate research assistant through the New Mexico AMP program and continues to be involved with the soil and water lab in addition to research in the Biology Department and working in the Geochemical Lab at the NM Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources. She loves biology and helping her community, and spends her free time with her dog, Poncho, going for long runs, and enjoying nature!
Kelsey Romero Kelsey is a recent NMT Earth Sciences graduate in 2021! Woohoo!! Kelsey will be presenting her work evaluating the connections of sediment and aquifer color and texture in Cambodia with groundwater arsenic contamination at the 2021 Goldschmidt Conference. Congrats Kelsey!
Ninh Le Ninh is a 4th year undergraduate at Soka University of America from Thanh Hoa, Vietnam. Ninh is interested in the effects of climate change on water security and public health and continues to collaborate on studying arsenic leaching from ceramic water filters and ceramic water filter efficacy. Ninh is passionate about both science and social justice!
Michael Schaefer Michael is an assistant professor in the hydrology program in the Earth and Environmental Science Department at New Mexico Tech. Maple is always helping out with work. Waiwai avoids photos (hi Waiwai!).
